Federal Airport Quarters Attack, Senator Shehu Sani Points Out Fault

The state of insecurity in Nigeria is beyond redemption at the moment. Bandits are getting more dominant at a point when the government believes it’s working.

The recent attack on the Federal Airport Quarters shows the real mess we’re in as a country.

According to reports, Bandits attacked the Federal Airport Quarters in Kaduna and went as far as abducting series of people. Could this be another ransom set to be paid?

The abductions carried out in the last few weeks has been rewarded and we hope the government won’t do the same.

The Bandits are carrying out this attacks to get money from the Federal Government. This is a point where the Government needs to treat Bandits like criminals and stop negotiating with them.

Speaking about the recent attack, Nigerian Senator, Shehu Sanni has pointed out the vulnerability of the Nigerian security system.

He said: “the attacks on the Federal Airport Quarters Kaduna and the kidnapping of scores of people is tragic and unfortunate.

The proximity of the scene of the crime to the Airport, security formations and the Defence Academy raises questions. The terror us on the edges of our city”.

Insecurity is at the verge of getting to ground zero.

The government needs to improve their security measures because it’s clear their recent approach isn’t working.
