Student Stabs Her Best Friend To Death During An Argument
- A sad incident happened in the Umaru Ali Shinkaft Polytechnic, Sokoto
- It involved two students who were best friends and also roommates
- They are both second year National Diploma students in the Polytechnic.
A Student of Umuru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic in Sokoto State, Miss Zainab Bisola Owoade, has died after she was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a knife by her Classmate and also Roommate.
Her Roommate’s name is identified as Nafeesat Yekini. It was reported that the unfortunate incident occurred during an argument between Owoade and Yekini In their hostel.
According to eyewitness, the deceased was rushed to nearby hospital after she was stabbed. She was declared death on arrival at the hospital.
Owoade was stabbed while fighting with her roommate. She didn’t immediately seek medical medical help after the stabbing as the two continued their disagreement while Owoade was bleeding.
However, people said Owoade slumped while still fighting and was immediately rush to the hospital, while others said, she was forced to go to the hospital because of the quantity of blood she lost during the fight.
But at the end of the scenario, she didn’t survive the injury, she was declared dead on arrival to the hospital by doctor.
The police was informed immediately and the came to take her body away, a source said.
According to investigation, it was revealed that Owoade and Yekini are best of friends and the are both from the same hometown. The cause of the argument is still yet to be verified.
