Rivers State, an oil-rich state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday, 9th March through the state government led by Nyesom Wike set a record by opening an international football academy managed by the Spanish giant club, Real Madrid.
The academy will train up and coming Nigerian footballers in the best art of football training while serving as a building center for the country’s future football superstars both home and abroad.
The ceremony had in attendance, the honorable Minister for sports, Sunday Dare, Former Governors, Traditional leaders, Top Government officials, Youths, Sport trainees amongst others, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
