Bandits, Again, Seven Kidnapped By Bandits In Kaduna

At least three people were killed on Tuesday when Bandits stormed Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Daily Trust reports that five other persons suffered gunshots injuries in the attack that happened around 5:30p.m. on Tuesday.

One of the locals told the newspaper that the assailants who attacked the community came on motorcycles with two bandits on a bike and open live rounds on residents.

“Lado Ibrahim, a resident said the bandits invaded the community around 5:30pm in over 30 motorcycles two on each and shot at residents before jamming them with the motorcycles”, the outlet said.

This came barely a week after bandits killed six person at Igabi and Kaura Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

On March 4, Kaduna State commissioner for Security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said that bandits commander, Rufai Maikaji and dozens of his militias were dislodged by security agencies.

In the past three months, bandits have launched coordinated attacks on communities, killing and abducting school students in hundred across Katsina, Niger and Zamfara State.
