VIDEO: Gov. Wike’s Reply When Asked If He Will Support GEJ If He Contests For 2023 Presidency

He granted an interview with BBC, where he was asked questions about Goodluck Jonathan
The reason he gave got the attention of people via social media

A few hours ago, River State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike had an interview with BBC where he disclosed things happening across the country and how it should be controlled. He was asked if he would one day decamp to APC or any other political party, and he said;

“I have malaria, is it cancer I am looking for? I have malaria that is easy to treat and you want me to carry cancer that will kill me easily. Which party?… APC?… A party that has killed Nigeria. Any fight I am fighting will remain in PDP, if I win, I win and I lose so be it, but I know that they will win me because will fight down. But to leave PDP that has malaria to APC that has cancer, it’s not possible”.

The interviewer asked him if he will vote for Goodluck Jonathan due to the speculations that have gone viral that he is coming back to contest in the 2023 presidential election under APC.

Interviewer : Will you leave PDP for APC?

Wike : Why should I leave PDP for APC ? It’s not done, no matter what happen I will remain in PDP. We will fight it together.

Interviewer: Are you corrupt ?

Wike : Well I can’t say that I am corrupt bit I like money, who will say he or she don’t like money in this Nigeria . is it not money I will use to pay my Children’s school fees ?

Interviewer: What if Goodluck Ebele Jonathan decided to contest for 2023 presidency will you support him ?

Wike : Yes I will support him as far he is picking ticket for PDP, But if he is picking ticket for APC I won’t support him.

Interviewer : What can you say about the kidnaping and insecurity in Nigeria ?

Wike : The government cannot solve insecurity in the country . Before you know it someone is kidnapped the next thing the person is released , who are they deceiving? The government have turned kidnapping o business.

Interviewer : What’s your relationship with Rotimi Amaechi?

Wike : I and Amaechi were in the same party then we prefer him to be the governor . God used me to make Rotimi Amaechi Governor. But he was calling me Staff and Employee, yet your staff stopped you from wining Governorship election, your staff still stop you from being a senator .
