Why I Filed Petition At EFCC Against Ondo Assembly Over Seminar Fraud – Hon. Deji Iroju
- Iroju who was removed as the state Deputy Speaker few months ago, said his move to file the petition was in order to clear his name from the said money collected on his behalf to attend a seminar that does not exist.

Ondo State House of Assembly Member, representing Odigbo Constituency I, Hon. Deji Iroju, has stated the reason he filed petitions at EFCC against the state Assembly over an alleged seminar fraud.
Iroju who was removed as the state Deputy Speaker few months ago, said his move to file the petition was in order to clear his name from the said money collected on his behalf to attend a seminar that does not exist.
The lawmaker, who disclosed this while speaking with the press in Akure, noted that he needed to clear his name.

Recall that the officials of EFCC detained the lawmaker representing Akoko South West II, Hon. Felemu Gudu-Bankole and the Clerk of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Bode Adeyelu on the alleged seminar fraud but were later released from EFCC custody on Wednesday after meeting their bail conditions.
Also, EKOHOTBLOG gathered that the anti-graft agency has extended invitations to more lawmakers of the Assembly for questioning slated for next week.
