Benin Republic Vs Nigeria: Photos From The Current Super Eagles Outdoor Training
- Players of the Nigerian National Team were seen taking part in training sessions ahead of Saturday’s game against Benin Republic.
- The match is scheduled to be played at the Charles De Gaulle Stadium, Porto Novo.
- The kick off time is 5:00 WAT.
Gernot Rohr’s men defeated the Squirrels 2-1 in the first leg staged at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo thanks to goals from Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen and Samuel Kalu.
The Super Eagles will be looking to win the match by all means in order to increase their chances of qualifying for the next AFCON tournament.
Some of the players spotted in training include: Everton’s Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, in form Paul Onuachu, Leon Balogun, Oghenekaro Etebo, Semi Ajayi and a few others, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
Few days ago, Benin Republic also announced a 23-man squad to face Nigeria and Sierra Leone in this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification games with Dijon goalkeeper Saturnin Allagbe and Brest forward Steve Mounie making the cut.
