Again, Fani-Kayode Meets Acting APC National Party Chairman, Reveals His Mission

In the last couple of months, there have been diverse insinuations about perceived attempt by the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, a PDP leader, to cross to the ruling party just before the 2023 general elections.

In his voyage to the ruling party, in the last couple of months, the PDP leader who said his principle is based in politics without bitterness, had met with the Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, Kogi Senator, Smart Adeyemi and All Progressive Congress, APC National Chairman, Mai Buni in Abuja, to allegedly discuss some important national and sociopolitical issues.

Again, on Wednesday, for the second time within two months, the former Aviation Minister, revealed that he met again with the All Progressive Congress, APC National Chairman, Mai Buni in Abuja, and had a fruitful and productive meeting with him.

Fani-Kayode said that they only discussed the state of the nation, national issues, party politics & the way forward at the meeting, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

However, Fani-Kayode’s moves further confirms the insinuations that the elder statesman may be decamping to the APC soon ahead of 2023 elections.

In his words, he said:

“A great afternoon and an extraordinary, fruitful and productive series of meetings with Governor Mai Buni of Yobe state who is the National Chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee and a great friend and brother. The struggle to save Nigeria and move her forward continues.”

“We shall continue to meet, collaborate, work closely together and interact and we shall remove every obstacle, climb every mountain and level every valley until we achieve our collective objective of peace, love, joy, unity and progress in our great and beloved country.”

Consequently, many Nigerians on social media expressed divergent views on the development, with many insinuating that the elder statesman may soon join the ruling party to fulfil his political dreams, while others argued that doing so will only makes him to be politically irrelevant.
