Photos: People Who Showed Up At Their Own Funerals After They Were Declared Dead

At times, what seems unbelievable occurs. Imagine attending somebody’s funeral who has been declared dead by his or her friends and relatives, then suddenly, while the process of burial is going on, the supposed dead person just showed up.

Sure, this will surely surprise people because it is unbelievable.

These are some set of people who showed up and attended their own funerals, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

(1.) Timothy Dexter

At times one may just want to know how his funeral would look like if he eventually die, that’s similar to Dexter’s case. He faked his own death. Guess what happened..?

Over three thousand people attended his funeral at his mansion in Newburyport.

(2.)  Gilberto Araujo

Araujo’s case was a case of misidentification.

He was a 41-year old man from Brazil who worked as a car washer. Araujo’s family mistakenly identified a dead body that resembles him as him in a morgue.

They were mourning him when he eventually showed up at the door in his funeral and everyone were shocked seeing the supposed man they were mourning.

(3.) Channeang Kong

This person was believed to have committed suicide because he was mentally ill but it was a surprise when he showed up at his funeral.

(4.) Felix Bush Breazeale

Felix had no friends, no wife. He spent 5 years planning his own funeral. He just wanted to listen to what the pastor would say about him. So he later showed up at the funeral.

(5.) Zeng Jia

In year 2013, after she attended her father’s funeral, Zeng planned her own funeral because she just wanted to hear what her friends would say about her.

(6.) Zhang Deyang:

He also wanted to know what his funeral would look like if he died.

He was not married, no children, so he planned his funeral because he thought nobody would care about him when he dies.
