Fani-Kayode Suspends His Media Aide For Accusing Dasuki Of Betraying Jonathan In 2015
Femi Fani Kayode has suspended a member of his media team for a tweet on his Twitter account on Sunday which alleged that Col. Sambo Dasuki was among those who betrayed Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 election
Fani-Kayode explained that it was done in error, as Dasuki was a loyal member of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
He recalled that he spoke up for Dasuki more than anyone else. According to him, he has queried and suspended that particular member of his media team
He mentioned that Col Sambo Dasuki is a dear friend and brother and that the relationship between them predates both of them as their fathers, Late Sultan Ibrahim Dasuki and Fani Kayode were friends.
Fani-Kayode defended Dasuki and said that the former NSA is not a traitor and never worked against Goodluck Jonathan’s bid in 2015, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
He said that Dasuki served Goodluck Jonathan faithfully and loyally. He further expressed regret about the embarrassment the story would have caused Dasuki and his loved ones.
