EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the inferno destroyed a section of the Assembly complex.

It was further learnt that the fire, which started at the chamber, spread to other sections of the House.

A source disclosed that the fire outbreak destroyed some property including sensitive documents of the House of Assembly, adding that operatives of the state fire service stations were still battling to put out the fire.
