Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi state, says he has no shred of doubt about the ability of Nigeria security agencies, especially the army, to address the security challenges that ravage the country.

Bello, who admitted that the insecurity in the country had gone on for too long, called on the Nigerian army to put an end to the menace.

Bello made the call during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nigerian Army Wives Association (NAOWA) wellness centre in Abuja, on Monday.

In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed an inexorable rise in insecurity with spate of kidnappings, killings, and arson in different parts of the country.
