Nigeria has recorded 14 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 2 May 2021, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,167.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.
Below is the breakdown of the cases recorded:
Osun-3, Ogun-3, Kaduna-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Abia-1, FCT-1, and Kwara-1.

Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,063 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 155,361 have recovered and have been discharged.
Meanwhile, 1,229,733 eligible Nigerians have received their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) made this known in its COVID-19 Vaccination update for 2 May 2021.
