Officially, the Queen of Waka Music in Nigeria, Queen Salawa Abeni has turned 60 on this day, May 5th, 2021.
Expectedly, everyone who knows the talented singer have been celebrating her in their own way.
And that includes her teeming fans who may not even have met her in person but have enjoyed her sonorous voice and music over the years.

As everyone is celebrating the Waka Queen, Queen Salawa Abeni all over the social media platforms, her colleagues in the Fuji music industry are not left out of her Diamond Jubilee celebration too.

Remember Waka Music is more or less a derivation from Fuji brand of music by Salawa Abeni, from which she created a special tone and tune of her own.

According to Sefiu Alao: “Happy 60th Birthday mama, emi gigun alafia kotun bo maje tiyin lagbara Olorun, Igba Odun Iseju Kan Queen Salawat Abeni @officialsalawaabeni ” ( Happy 60th birthday to mama, may long life and good health continue to be yours by the special grace of God. Long life and prosperity Queen Salawat Abeni). He wrote underneath her picture he posted.

Pasuma on his own part wrote: ” Happy 60th Birthday to the most powerful existing Waka Queen and the longest female musician in Nigeria, my mother and career adviser, God bless your new age Maami @officialsalawaabeni LLNP Maaaaa.” He wrote underneath her picture.
