Femi Kuti To Tinubu, ‘Stop Using Our Father’s Name For Your Campaign Or Face The Consequence’
- Femi Kuti took to his social media page to threaten legal actions against APC

The family of Legendary Nigerian activist and musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has expressed their displeasure about the tweet posted by All Progressive Congress (APC).
This was made known by Fela’s first son, Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti who is popularly known as Femi Kuti.
Apparently, All Progressive Congress (APC) posted pictures of the T – shirts they designed for Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is one of their party leader, the word “Jagaban” which is the nickname of Bola Ahmed Tinubu was written on the T – shirts, the T – shirt also have the name of Fela and a qoute from him.

Femi Kuti who spoke on behalf of the Fela family through a series of tweets said they didn’t authorize APC to use Fela’s name and also stated that the Fela family does not align with any political party.
He requested that the post made by APC should be deleted otherwise they will explore any legal option they have.
