BREAKING: Yomi Fabiyi Leads Protest At Police Station Over Baba Ijesha’s Detention
- Popular Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, on Wednesday morning, led others to protest against the detention of his colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka well known as Baba Ijesha, who was arrested for sexually harassing a 14-year-old girl.

Popular Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, on Wednesday morning, led others to protest against the detention of his colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka well known as Baba Ijesha, who was arrested for sexually harassing a 14-year-old girl, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.
The Lagos police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, while announcing the arrest of the famous actor, alleged that Baba Ijesha had been sexually assaulting the teenager since she was seven.
However, Fabiyi, who has been supportive of Baba Ijesha, described the continuous detention of the veteran actor as “illegal”.
He led other protesters from Casino Bus Stop to Panti Police Station in Lagos in the early hours of Wednesday to protest against the detention of Baba Ijesha.

The protesters demanded that Baba Ijesha should be released from detention pending when a court would hear his case.
They carried placards and banners with various inscriptions such as ‘denial of bail of bail of bailable offence is human rights violation’, ‘Nigeria police, please allow the law to dictate to you, not Iyabo Ojo, Princess and co’.
‘Release Baba Ijesha’, and ‘Nigeria police must respect human rights and honour bail for bailable offence’.
