COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 49 New Cases, No Death

• Total cases confirmed – 165,661
• Total cases discharged – 156,399
• Total deaths recorded – 2,066

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,661 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 14, the NCDC reports 53 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 5 states — Enugu-22, Lagos-18, Rivers-6, Akwa Ibom-2 and Edo-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,399 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,066.
