JUST IN: Emir Of Kano Escapes Death As Abuja-Bound Flight Narrowly Evades Crash

Tragedy was averted on Tuesday as Kano-Abuja Max Air aircraft developed engine failure, 10 minutes after take-off from the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA).

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado-Bayero, among many other passengers, was aboard the faulty plane.

It was learnt that the faulty Max airplane with the number VM1645 was slated for take-off by 1.30 pm but had about 30minutes delay, making the aircraft take off around 2:00 pm with many passengers.

It was further gathered that the plane, 10 minutes after the take-off, began to swerve around the air until it made a detour for an emergency landing.

Sources disclosed that the incident was allegedly caused by an engine failure while others attributed the incident to a bird strike.

One of the passengers, Dr. Samaila Suleiman, who accused the airline of negligence, described the incident as a near-death incident.

He added that he heard a strange sound when the aircraft was taking off but dismissed any strange feeling of insecurity.

“I heard a strange sound during the take-off but brushed it aside. I have used aircraft many times but had never heard such a sound during take-off.

“The cabin crew members and the pilot were helpless because they apparently lost control of the aircraft.

“No even that radio announcement was made until we saw ourselves back at the airport where we took off.

“It was a near-death experience. I and many other passengers were traumatized. Many of us canceled to trip and returned home,” Suleiman said.

Max Air had not spoken on the incident as of the time of writing this report.
