Site Of Late COAS, Attahiru Ibrahim, Plane Mishap Cordoned Off
- All the passengers aboard the military plane were killed in the crash.
Military authorities have blocked members of the public from gaining access to the site of plane crash involving the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru.
Attahiru, alongside other senior military officers, died in an ill-fated flight in Kaduna on Friday.
However, the site of the crash has now been cordoned off by authorities, denying newsmen entrance into the scene of sorrow.
A NAN correspondent who was at the site in Kaduna was not allowed access to the area.
Other journalists and curious residents of the area were also not allowed access to the area on Saturday afternoon.

It was not immediately clear if investigators are already at the site to unravel the cause of the tragic accident.

Attahiru left behind his wife and three female children.
Friday’s crash is the third plane mishap involving military officers this year, fueling suspicious among members of the public who have called for investigation into the frequent crashes.
