Four Of Lagos’ Most Dangerous Bridges Where Robbers Operate

Published

on

  • All the bridges in Lagos are used daily by Lagosians

All these segments of bridges in Lagos in this article, gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, are based on experiences and people’s encounters that were reported.

Oshodi bridge

This is one of the most notorious bridges in Lagos. Former Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Fashola tried to clean up Oshodi, light it up and provide more security there.

But, all the criminal elements have not been eliminated. Some of them still cause chaos at Oshodi bridge and they operate especially at night.

Ojuelegba bridge.

Ojuelegba bridge is another risky spot. People  get attacked or robbed of their cash, phones, and other valuables by the criminals especially at night when it is even scarier and darker.

Oworonshoki bridge.

This risky Oworo  bridge is very close to the Third Mainland Bridge. The Third Mainland Bridge is usually busy as it forms a meeting point for those going to and from Island and Mainland in Lagos, but the Oworo bridge is usually not busy. It is risky especially at night and people have been attacked and robbed by hoodlums.

Anthony bridge

This bridge is very scary at night. It has two phases: the left and right phases. People (pedestrians) hoping to divert to the Gbagada expressway or Anthony village make use of it because it is easier and faster instead of going all the way.

But, many people have been attacked and robbed usually at night.
