Suspected IPOB Militants Invade FCID In Abia
- Suspected IPOB militants have invaded FCID in Abia State.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that gunmen suspected to be militants of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have reportedly attacked the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Umuagu, Umuahia in Abia State.
The IPOB militants, who were half-naked, were seen hanging live cock around their neck while many of them were armed with AK47 rifles
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the militants numbering over 50 invaded the FCID in the state.

A security source revealed that a combined team of the military and police engaged the IPOB members afterward, adding that stray bullets killed some residents in the process of a gun battle between them.
Meanwhile, EKO HOT BLOG learnt that soldiers have taken over Umuahia, the Abia State capital, as of the time of writing this report.
