Principals in Ogun State have been described as partners in progress with the government, in its bid towards improving the standard of quality education in Secondary Schools across the State.

The Chairman of Ogun State Teaching Service Commission, Evangelist Olalekan Ifede said this, during the Maiden Edition of Annual Egba Division Secondary Schools Essay Writing, Debate and Quiz Competition with the Presentation of Awards, held at Lisabi Grammar School, Idi-aba, Abeokuta.

Evangelist Ifede reiterated that the initiative was another wake-up call that should be emphasized at this present time when an average individual does not know the importance of motivation and reinforcements towards effective teaching and learning.

“The principalship position in this present dispensation goes beyond effective leadership, but must be partners in progress with the Government to improve the standard and quality of education in our secondary schools, which is one of the major cardinal points of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration”, he said.
