COVID-19: NCDC Records 49 New Infections, No Fatalities

• Total cases confirmed – 166,816
• Total cases discharged – 163,190
• Total deaths recorded – 2,117

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,816 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated June 7, the NCDC reports 49 new cases with no COVID-related fatalities.

The new infections were recorded in 5 states – Ondo-30, Lagos-15, Kaduna-2, Gombe-1 and Adamawa-1.
