COVID-19: NCDC Confirms 102 New Infections

• Total cases confirmed – 166,918
• Total cases discharged – 163,259
• Total deaths recorded – 2,117

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 166,918 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated June 8, the NCDC reports 102 new cases with no COVID-related fatalities.

The new infections were recorded in 9 states – Ondo-68, Bayelsa-17, Kaduna-5, Lagos-3, Rivers-3, Akwa-Ibom-2, Gombe-2, Ebonyi-1 and Oyo-1.
