BREAKING: INEC Announces Date For Ekiti Governorship Election

• INEC has announced the date for the governorship election in Ekiti State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced June 18, 2022, as the date for the governorship election in Ekiti State.

The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, made the announcement in Abuja on Wednesday.

This is coming barely 24 hours after INEC fixed July 16, 2022, as the date for the governorship election in Osun State.

Yakubu, on Wednesday, stated that the detailed timetable and schedule of activities for the elections have been uploaded on the Commission’s website and social media platforms.
