BREAKING: JAMB Gives Fresh Directive To Candidates Of Delisted Centres

  • JAMB has given a fresh directive to candidates of delisted centres across the country.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates who were scheduled to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in delisted centres to print new examination notification slips.

The examination body gave the directive via a statement by the JAMB spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, on Monday.

JAMB directed the candidates to immediately start printing their notifications for their new scheduled date and time.

“This applies only to centres delisted. You will recall that 24 centres were delisted for performing below the tolerable limit of the Board, while over 40 others were put on the watchlist,” the statement read.

EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that JAMB delisted 25 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the country for poor performance at the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held nationwide on Saturday, June 19.

The 2021 UTME was being conducted in 777 designated centres across the country before the delisting of 25 centres.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that over 1.3 million candidates registered for the 2021 UTME across Nigeria.
