Shehu Sani a former Kaduna Senator has enjoined the Federal Government to respect the fundamental human rights of IPOB Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“The fundamental rights of Nnamdi Kanu should be respected in compliance with the relevant articles of the constitution of the FRN.”
“His trial should be guided by justice, fairness and the rule of law and not sentiments, prejudice, hate, ill feelings, vengeance or bigotry”, he said.
As earlier reported by EkoHotBlog, Nnamdi Kanu was on Tuesday re-arrested and re-arraigned by the Department of State Security in Court before Justice Binta Nyako.

She in turn directed that he be remanded in DSS custody until his next Court appearance.
