BREAKING: PDP Chieftain Is Dead
- A PDP chieftain has been pronounced dead.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Dennis Omovie, is dead.
Omovie, who represented Warri South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly from 2007–2019, passed away on Wednesday morning.
Details on the demise of the PDP chieftain, however, remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
Hon. Hope George confirmed the lawmaker’s death to EKOHOTBLOG, saying, ”It is true”.

Meanwhile, the Warri South Council Chairman, Dr. Michael Tidi, could not be reached for comment as at press time.
Until his death, Hon. Omovie was the Director-General Public and Private Properties in Delta State.
