JUST IN: Many Feared Dead, Scores Abducted As Bandits Invade Katsina Community
- Many residents have been feared dead while scores were abducted as bandits invaded Katsina community.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Tsayau community in the Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
It was gathered that the bandits killed no fewer than four persons and abducted an unspecified number of residents during the attack which occurred on Monday night.
As gathered by EKOHOTBLOG, the incident was confirmed by the lawmaker representing Jibia at the State House of Assembly, Mustapha Yusuf.

The lawmaker further disclosed that many other residents were also injured during the attack.
The Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isa, when contacted, said he was in a meeting.
The police spokesperson, however, promised to revert shortly.
