JUST IN: EFCC Arrests Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Ondo
- The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested suspected internet fraudsters in Ondo State.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested two suspected internet fraudsters in Ondo State.
It was gathered that one of the suspected fraudsters was arrested in Akure, the Ondo State capital over his alleged involvement in an internet scam popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.

It was further learnt that the second suspect, who claimed to be an Engineer, was arrested for financial fraud running into millions of naira.
EKOHOTBLOG gathered that the operatives of the EFCC stormed Akure following intelligence and arrested the suspects at different locations within the state capital.
The EFCC, following the arrest, moved the suspects to ‘A’ Division Police Station in Akure before whisking them to the anti-graft agency zonal office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
