Nigerian Singer Bella Shmurda Deported From Ghana Over Assault

Popular Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has been deported from Ghana, EkoHotBlog reports.
Bella Shmurda was deported after he was found guilty of assaulting a doctor with a fork while in quarantine by the Adjabeng Circuit Court in Accra.
He was deported together with Ramsey Omeofe and Abimbola, and each of them was fined GH2,000.
The trio were also barred from travelling to Ghana for three months.
After Bella and the others were placed in quarantine for testing positive with COVID-19, they became upset and assaulted the doctor.
The assault on the Doctor was reportedly carried out with a fork. It was learnt that the attack was part of the trio’s desperate attempt to get out of quarantine.

The three were charged with Verbal Abuse on a Medical Officer, Physical Assault on a Medical Officer, and Attempted Assault with a Table Fork on a Medical Officer, and were convicted by the Adjabeng Circuit Court on their guilty pleas.
