Biafra: Actress Evan Okoro Reacts To Chiwetalu Agu’s Assault
Nigerian actress, Evan Okoro has condemned the brutal treatment meted out on the veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu for wearing an outfit inscribed with the Biafra flag.
EKOHOTBLOG earlier reported that the Nigerian Army personnel arrested Agu at the Upper Iweka Onitsha, Anambra State for wearing an outfit inscribed with the Biafra flag.
It was gathered that Chiwetalu Agu was in Onitsha on a charity mission where he regularly gifts the less privileged with food items when he was arrested by soldiers.

Posting a video where the veteran actor was assaulted, Evan Okoro kicked against such brutal treatment while lamenting over the level of embarrassment he was put through.

Captioning the post, she wrote, “Nooo💔💔💔💔 this is totally unacceptable, what kind of embarrassment is this, @chiefchiwetaluagu no naa😭😭😭😭😭 he is an old man for goodness sake.”

However, the Nigerian Army has told their side of the story.
According to the statement by the force’s spokesperson, Agu was arrested for soliciting support for the Indigenous People of Biafra.
The army spokesman further denied reports that the popular actor was assaulted, noting that Agu was only detained.
