[COVID-19] NCDC Reports 226 New Cases, Six Fatalities

• Total cases confirmed – 208,630
• Total cases discharged – 196,326
• Total deaths recorded – 2,767

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 208,630 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated October 14, the NCDC reports 226 new cases with 6 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 14 states – FCT (73), Plateau (34), Lagos (25), Gombe (22), Abia (16), Osun (13), Kano (7), Rivers (7), Ekiti (6), Kaduna (6), Oyo (6), Delta (5), Edo (3) Jigawa (2), and Nasarawa (1).

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi, Ogun, Ondo and Sokoto States.
