Governor Sanwo-Olu has visited the survivors of Ikoyi building collapsed and announced new plans.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited the survivors of Ikoyi building at General Hospital where they are all receiving medical attention.
This online media reports that the 21- storey building situated on Gerard road, collapsed on Monday and trapped about 50 persons under the rubble.
Federal and state emergency agencies currently at the site of the collapsed building have managed to rescue many survivors while the remains of 36 people have been recovered.

The site has been cordoned off by security operatives consisting of soldiers of the Nigerian Army, Police operatives and officers of the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps.
This was done to prevent a crowd from gaining access to the rubble of the collapsed building.
While giving an update on his official Facebook page, the Lagos Gov said he visited the survivors on Thursday morning.
He, however, announced plan to ensure the survivors get good medial care until they recover fully.
He said: “Ealier this morning, I visited the survivors of the Ikoyi collapsed building at General Hospital where they are all receiving medical attention.
“While the situation that led to their current hospitalisation is very unfortunate, we are going to ensure they get good medical care until they recover fully.”
