Ex Super Eagles Player, Mikel Obi’s Contract Terminated

Ekohotblog reports that ex super eagles player, Mikel Obi has had his contract terminated with Kuwait Sporting Club.
The club made this announcement via their social media platforms but details on what transpired remains unknown.

Mikel Obi signed for Kuwait Sporting Club in the summer after having his contract with Stoke City, which still had another 12 months left to run, terminated by mutual consent.
The Nigerian had joined Stoke after Trabzonspor also terminated his contract for refusing to play due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although, the 34-year-old is departing Kuwait SC without making his league debut, he represented the Brigadiers in the AFC Cup.
