Hidmas Urge NANS President And Zone D C.P.C For Free, Fair And Faction Free Convention
The immediate past National Association of Nigerian Students, Southwest Zone (NANS Zone D) Asst. Secretary-General (ASG), Comrade Odufuwa Idris (a.k.a HIDMAS) charged the NANS President, Comrade Asefon Sunday, the two NANS Zone D leadership and the Convention Planing Committee (CPC) on a peaceful, free and fair convention in the upcoming NANS Southwest (Zone D) Convention.
The NANS President which is from this zone should try all his possible best alongside with the Convention Planning Committee (CPC) set up by the two factions should make sure a united leadership is produced at the end of the convention.

The continuous existence of factional system in NANS Zone D can have serious negative consequences for the most ideological zone. If factional strife becomes intensive and public, the association (NANS) may suffer from perceptions of disunity. Taken one step further, if the conflict is particularly severe, it may cause ruptures within the association that seriously impede its effectiveness, leading to break-up or collapse of the association without achieving the main aim and objectives of our dear association (NANS).
Its normal to have lots of interest in an election, but the majority after the counting of votes bears the winner. This is to call the attention of NANS Southwest (Zone D) Senators, Aspirants, Leaders and Stakeholders to make sure the product of this convention a united leadership and not factionable government.
Also, all necessary stakeholders in the ideological zone and the necessary security apparatus should be well carried along to ensure a peaceful convention. To achieve this, the convention should be transparent, inclusive, and accountable, and there must be equitable opportunities to all senators and aspirants.
I hereby wish all students, senators, stakeholders and leaders a successful journey to and from the ideological NANS Zone D convention.
