A church sweeper has been hacked to death in Ondo.
EKO HOT BLOG reports tragedy struck as a middle-aged woman, identified as Mrs Omode has been reportedly killed by some unknown assailants at Iwaro Oka in Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The deceased who is member of the Deeper Life Bible Church at Owalusi area of Iwaro Oka in Akoko Southwest Local Government was found dead, throwing the community into mourning.
She was said to have been killed by unidentified men in front of the church building.
She was said to have been on her way to sweep the church in preparation for the Sunday service when she was attacked.

According to an eyewitness, the lifeless body of the deceased was found on the ground with a mark and blood on her neck, which indicated that her throat was slit by the killers.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami said an investigation had commenced into the incident.
“The lifeless body of the woman was found on the way to the church and there was a cut on the neck. We have commenced our investigation into the matter,” Odunlami stated.
No one had been arrested in connection with the killing, as of the time of this report.
