LASPOTECH Rector, Lagos Police PPRO, others is set to gather as EPE NYCN is set to host 2021 Youth conference.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that top dignitaries from all walks of life in Lagos state is set to attend the 2021 edition of annual youth conference organized by the Epe chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
The youth conference is scheduled to hold on December 11th 2021 with the themed “Insecurity and Social Vices in The Country: Youths on Call”
Speaking with the Coordinator of the youth body, Comrade Ladele Ismail, he said that it was important to host the conference being the umbrella body of all youth organisations, associations and groups across the community based on the latest developments in the community.
He revealed that erudite scholars and thoroughbred personalities have been lined up to do justice to the theme of the conference for the benefit of the youths of the community. Notable among the guest speakers are Lagos State Polytechnic Rector, Dr Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, LASUBEB, Board Member, Hon. Dayo Israel and the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos State Command, Nigerian Police Force, SP Adekunle Ajisebutu.

“They will grace the event and do justice to the topic, enlighten and expose our youths to really know what and what to do to become law-abiding citizens of our great nation, particularly with the recent trend of security breach in our community.
We must always sleep with our eyes closed and the youths have to play their roles and also know the proper ways their complaints and grievances can be channelled to make our community a better place for all,” he stated.
The Coordinator was optimistic about hosting the year 2021 conference based on the efforts of the Lagos State Government under the distinguished leadership of His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in curbing the COVID 19 pandemic.
Speaking further, Comrade Ladele disclosed that programs highlighted for the conference include; Jumaat service ( 3rd December); Awareness rally (4th December); Friendly football match / Indoor Games (8th December), Youth conference (11th December) and Thanksgiving service/Christmas carol (12th December).
He, therefore, advised all youths from the community to come out en masse and be part of the event to air their opinions on moves that the Government and other stakeholders can make to curb social vices and insecurity in the Epe community as the discussions and suggestions would be contained in a communique for onward submission to the Government.
