- Total cases confirmed – 214,789
- Total cases discharged – 207,478
- Total deaths recorded – 2,980
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Diseas Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 214,789 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 6, the NCDC reports 167 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 9 States – Lagos (113), FCT (22), Plateau (16), Kano (4), Abia (3), Kaduna (3), Rivers (3), Bauchi (2) and Delta (1).
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Sokoto State.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 207,478 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,980.
