[COVID-19] NCDC Reports 730 Fresh Infections, No Death

• Total cases confirmed – 218,596
• Total cases discharged – 211,254
• Total deaths recorded – 2,983

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 218,596 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated December 14, the NCDC reports 730 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 11 states – Lagos (431), FCT (174), Rivers (38), Ogun (32), Akwa Ibom (25), Anambra (11), Katsina (7), Bayelsa (4), Niger (4), Kano (3), and Ekiti (1).

According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto States.

It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 211,254 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,983.
