Looters Take Advantage Of NEXT Supermarket Fire To Pilfer Goods
- Electronics, mattresses and other items were seen in the video being taken away by the looters
EKO HOT BLOG reports that following a fire that broke out at the popular NEXT Supermarket in Kado, Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory, looters have begun pillaging goods from the store.
A video that was seen by EKO HOT BLOG showed several individuals emerging from the smoky scene with different goods suspected to have been taken from the burning store.

Electronics, mattresses and other items were seen in the video being taken away by the looters.
However, a joint team of the Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigerian Army have been deployed to the scene of the incident.
An eyewitness had said that fire gutted the supermarket on Sunday from a spark on one of the Christmas trees in the store.
