Four Injured in Osun Road Accident

  • Four persons have been injured in Osun road accident.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that no fewer than four persons have escaped death with injuries in a road accident on Wednesday morning, along the Iki-Ilaodo road, Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State.

It was learnt that the accident which occurred near the Inisa Praying Ground, involved a Toyota Camry, with registration number KJA 855 BP and a Volkswagen Golf with registration number KF 239 EKY.

Confirming the accident, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Osun Sector Command revealed that it was caused by speed-limit violation on the part of the drivers of both vehicles.

The Osun FRSC Sector Command also revealed that eight male and two female adults were involved in the accident, out of which three males and a female adult were severely injured.

Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, the spokesperson of the command stated that the injured have been taken to private hospitals in Inisa and the site of the accident had been cleared of obstructions to allow for free flow of traffic.

She added that both crashed vehicles had been taken possession of by the Nigeria Police, Inisa Division.
