JUST IN: Pandemonium As Lagos-Bound Passengers Are Abducted In Imo [PHOTO]

EKO HOT BLOG reports that there was pandemonium in Obiohuru community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Southwest Nigeria, when gunmen intercepted a Lagos-bound vehicle and abducted all the travellers.

The bus

The 14-seater bus was said to have left Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, earlier on Tuesday en route to Lagos, before it was intercepted.

The passengers were reportedly travelling in the bus marked “Government of Akwa Ibom State”.

The gunmen were said to have ordered them to an unknown destination while their luggage were left in the vehicle. The engine of the bus was reportedly still running at the time some youths got to the scene.

The youths subsequently alerted the police after pushing the bus out of the lonely road.

Spokesperson for the Imo State Police Command, Micheal Abattam did not respond to requests for comments as of the time of publishing this report.
