NDLEA Foils Woman’s Attempt To Swallow Cocaine During Raid

NDLEA has foiled woman’s attempt to swallow cocaine during raid.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ifeoma Godwin Sade, the 29-year-old wife of a suspected drug dealer, Ifeanyi Onyeasi, was stopped from swallowing 12 grams of cocaine during a raid by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Jos, Plateau State.
The grams of cocaine had been found in her apartment.

In a statement, the NDLEA, Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said that operatives successfully retrieved the drug from her throat while she was attempting to swallow it and they also recovered over N234,650 from the couple.
“In Plateau State, an attempt by 29-year-old Ifeoma Godwin Sade, wife of a drug dealer, Ifeanyi Onyeasi, 34, to swallow 12grams of cocaine found in their house at Agingi, Rukuba road, Jos, during an arrest operation was scuttled by operatives who retrieved the drug from her throat on Sunday 16th Jan. Also recovered from them was a monetary exhibit of Two Hundred and Thirty-Four Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty Naira Only (N234, 650),” part of the statement read.
