Lagos: Sanwo-Olu Commisions Important Projects At Ikosi-Isheri [PHOTOS]
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was on Wednesday on hand to flag off the construction of the Ojota-Opebi link bridges, a carriageway authorities say will solve major traffic conflicts in Ikeja and environs.
The 3.89 kilometre-long road infrastructure will open into Ojota axis in Kosofe, taking traffic from Opebi U-Turn and dropping it at Ikorodu Road via intersection that will be constructed under Iya Alaro Bridge at Mende.

Also today, the Official commissioning of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area Ultra Modern Administrative Office Complex, and Ikosi fruit market phrase 1 by Governor Sanwo-Olu was done.
Reacting, the Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo described Sanwo-olu as a visionary and wonderful leader, whose style of leadership is sincere and purpose-driven.
Mayor Dele noted that the signature of projects undertaken by the Lagos State Government, which is also being rapidly replicated by the Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas are gradually turning the state from a mega city status to a smart city.
The chairman made this commendation at the commissioning of the ultra-modern Ikosi-Isheri Administrative Complex, named after the first citizen of state.
Mayor Dele also commended the Chairperson, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada for maintaining the track of continuity in completing the administrative block.
The Chairman added that the new edifice would provide befitting offices that would meet demand of the 21st century administrative style, stressing that it would enhance the productivity and output of the staff of the LCDA in providing seamless service delivery.
Governor Sanwo-olu paid glowing tributes to former Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the creation of LCDAs in Lagos State.
Governor Sanwo-olu noted that the establishment of the LCDAs demonstrated leadership in the face of intimidation, stressing that “Tinubu’s vision gave credence to the democratic fruits we are witnessing at the grassroots level in the state.”
