NANS has relocated secretariat as students protest over accident on Akungba-Akoko road.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest has relocated her secretariat to all major roads in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo stare.
The NANS Southwest leaders joined students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba to protesting against what they described as the “incessant” road accidents along the Akungba-Akoko road.

They call on the concerned authorities to find solutions to the accidents that had left many dead and others maimed for life.
In a statement on Friday jointly signed by the NANS Southwest Coordinator, Tegbe Stephen Fiyinfoluwa and the NANS Southwest PRO, Esiegbe Emmanuel O said the Leadership of NANS Southwest would no longer keep her hand crossed as Students’ lives are endangered due to the incessant accidents on Ondo State roads, particularly Akungba, Ondo State
According to the statement, “The Leadership of NANS Southwest Zone D ably led by Comr Tegbe Stephen Fiyinfoluwa would no longer keep her hand crossed as Students’ lives are endangered due to the incessant accidents on Ondo State roads, particularly Akungba, Ondo State
“With immediate effect, We hereby relocate the Secretariat of NANS SouthWest Zone D to all major roads in Akungba, Ondo State
“With immediate effect, We hereby relocate the Secretariat of NANS SouthWest Zone D to all roads that leads to Ondo state until our voices are heard and a lasting solution is proffered.”
