Oba Elegushi Only Son Is Dead

• Oba Elegushi has reportedly lost his only son and heir apparent to the throne
• The toddler who was born on August 21, 2020, in London, was the heir apparent to the Elegushi throne before his death.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a Nigerian Monarch, Oba Saheed Elegushi, the Ikusenla II, the Oba of Ikateland and his second wife, Queen Hadiza’s son is dead.

This online media platform gathered that Oba Elegushi lost his only son who recently clocked a year and seven months.

The young lad is his first and only son from his second wife, Queen Hadiza Elegushi, nee Tanko.

The toddler who was born on August 21, 2020, in London, was the heir apparent to the Elegushi throne before his death.

The youngest Oba in Lagos State, Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla lll, ascended the throne of his late father Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi who died in 2009.

Until his coronation as King Elegushi of Ikateland on the 27th of April 2010, Oba Elegushi was the Personal Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu between 2003 and 2007 and remained the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN on Special Duties from June 2007 until his installation as the Oba Elegushi of Ikateland on the 27th of April, 2010.

The Elegushi monarchy is one of the oldest ruling houses in Lagos.
