But he assured the commuters that the issue was being handled by the state government and services would be restored as soon as possible.
Asked what was being done about it, the official said he could not say. All efforts made to reach the Primero head office proved abortive as of the time of filing this report as the calls were unanswered.
Recall that the Nigerian youths planned to stage a protest on Tuesday at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos, following the outrage that trailed Bamise’s alleged gruesome murder.
In a flier shared on Twitter as seen by newsmen, the youths vowed to storm the Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja, and all BRT terminals in Lagos State.
They also demanded justice for the 22-year-old lady and prosecution of all the suspects involved in the death of the fashion designer.
However, men of the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigerian Army, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps stormed the location at the park strategically to parent the protest.
Also, operatives of the Department of State Services are among the joint security forces at the venue with scores of patrol vans, heavy anti-riot gun trucks, and Black Marias.
