The meeting was the first physical gathering since 2019 due to the dynamics of physical interactions occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.

The meeting provided a two-pronged platform to network and discussed issues that would promote the welfare of its members while also hashing out ideas on how to give back to their Alma Mater.

The meeting was slated for February 20th at the prestigious Homebase Hotel at Ijebu ode, owned by one of the members of the 69/73 Set.

The meeting started with an opening prayer and singing of the school’s national anthem, followed by an intense discussion on the forthcoming project. The 50th anniversary slated for next year was part of the discussion.

He charged the members to allow the love that has guided them through the years to direct their continued interaction with each other.

Alhaji Hussein, Mocosa 69/73 set President, also urged the members to continue to fan the embers of love and unity that has sustained the group through several highs and lows since graduating from the hallowed citadel of learning.

Also speaking, Otunba TJ Abass noted the importance of giving back to the institution, a tradition he believes will inspire the rest of the alumni to give back to their beloved Alma Mater.
