Cancer is a complex disease, and in order for a food to be considered carcinogenic, there must be solid evidence linking its use to an increased incidence of certain cancers, as well as evidence concerning how that food can cause cancer to develop.

1. Processed Foods
Limiting processed foods is one of the things you can do to avoid cancer. Many of these foods contain additives that promote weight gain, such as hydrogenated oils, modified starches, colourants, emulsifiers, texturizers, sweeteners, and other sweeteners, and obesity is a proven risk factor for various forms of cancer.
2. Deep-fried foods
Deep-fried foods are not a healthy option. They typically add a lot of calories to food and don’t provide any beneficial nutrients. Furthermore, deep frying food can produce acrylamide, a carcinogen linked to an increased risk of cancer.
3. Processed and red meat
Consumption of too much red meat (beef, swine, lamb, and goat) and processed meat (hot dogs, ham, corned beef, sausages, and beef jerky) has been linked to an increased risk of colorectal cancer. According to studies, several compounds found in processed meats, both added and naturally occurring, are carcinogenic.
4. Consumption of alcohol
In men, regular, heavy alcohol consumption increases the risk of cancers of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, and breast, as well as colorectal cancer and liver cancer. In women, it may increase the risk of colorectal cancer and liver cancer.

5. Salted foods
